The tree's come down, the grandchildren have gone home and you've finally eaten the last of the mince pies. Christmas and New Year are magical and fun times of year but we are all slightly guilty of being a bit over-indulgent! So what better time to sign up to a new challenge to lose that Christmas weight? After all… New Year, New You?!
At The Trust we are about to embark on a whole year of wellbeing with 2020 being "The Year of Wellbeing". We have lots planned throughout the year but first we are kicking off with our brand new collective challenge for beneficiaries – the 100lbs Weight Loss Challenge.
We are inviting you to join an online group to track your weight over the entire year, with the aim to collectively lose 100lbs (that’s 7 stone in total!). Whilst all of your personal weight entries will be anonymous, there will be a group loss total so we can keep on track together.
We want to encourage you to share your journeys, your recipes and your tips for exercise. It has been proven that making changes to your diet or exercise with friends or like-minded people (rather than alone) will improve your chance of success. Not only is your success rate higher, your stress levels could reduce and your mental wellbeing improved.
So go on, what do you have to lose? Sign up to the challenge now.
