Andrew Paddison’s 1000 Mile Cycle Challenge

On 12 July 2019 cyclist Andrew Paddison took to the roads on his hand bike to raise money for charity and show the world that the impact of thalidomide shouldn’t hold anyone back.

He has cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats raising money for three charities close to his heart. The challenge will also mark 60 years since the first baby affected by Thalidomide was born.

Andrew spoke to Good Morning Britain, ahead of his challenge, about how living with his condition has never been a barrier for him.
