Report on Disabled People’s Rail Experience Published

The Department for Transport has published their report on their research into the experiences of disabled rail passengers. The research, which was commissioned in 2017, looks at the "end-to-end journey experience, looking in depth at rail travel and when and how barriers may be experienced by disabled passengers". The aim was to gain better understanding of real-life experiences and improve their passenger experiences.

"Around one in five respondents reported that they find train travel difficult."
