After Christmas and New Year many people think about healthier lifestyles and some of you may be wanting to shed some pounds.

If you’re overweight and thinking about losing those inches, you may be interested to hear that the benefits of weight loss far extend just fitting more comfortably in your clothes. Losing weight can help lower your blood pressure, reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, Type 2 Diabetes and even some cancers. Moreover, you may find losing weight helps your joint pain, makes you less tired and may give you more energy to enjoy the activities you want to do,  like playing with your grandchildren, pets or taking trips away. Many people notice that if they are feeling better and have more energy, this can be a real boost to their mood too.
