The Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada
The Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada, in addition to working with its members, took on the mandate of educating the public on the devastating consequences of this medication that remains available for other medical purposes and promote caution and vigilance with the use of any teratogenic product.
Association of Thalidomide (FfdN)
Association of Thalidomide (FfdN) is a Swedish disability organization established for the children in the early 1960s, was born with damage due to maternal ingestion of the drug Thalidomide. The target group was later expanded to include all people with severe congenital or acquired extremity. The association, however, is open for membership to all persons who wish to support FfdN’s work and who share our values.
