During his research time Professor Brady won the British Cardiac Society Award and the American Heart Association Young Investigator Award. He has published over 90 papers and delivered more than 200 national/international lectures on many aspects of cardiovascular medicine. Professor Brady has worked extensively with SIGN, NICE and international guidelines agencies. Past President, British and Irish Hypertension Society. Past Chairman, Guidelines Committee, British Cardiovascular Society. He conceived, developed and led Football Health Scotland.
